Obituary for Rose Bilger
ROSE MARIE BILGER
Rose, 85, of McDonald, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in Mercy Hospital.
She was born December 20, 1931, a daughter of the late William C. and Emeline DeVos Geisler.
Mrs. Bilger was a retired customer service clerk at McDonald Pharmacy and had previously worked at G.C. Murphy Co. and NAPA. She attended Crossroads Church – North Fayette and was a volunteer at the McDonald Trail Station.
Surviving are her daughters: Valerie (Robert) Gottschalk of Ambridge, Cheryl Bertolino of Cecil Twp., Sandra (Arthur) Williams of Avella, Carol (Jay) Vasselo of N.Fayette Twp., Donna (Anil) Semelbauer of Wexford; grandchildren, Michael, Angel, Robert, Kara, Cody, Rachel, Amber, Brian, Adam, and Casey; great grandchildren, Brie, Hadley, Whitney and Carsyn. She is also survived by 4 brothers and 1 sister and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert L.Bilger (2008) and 2 brothers.
Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald (724-926-2800) where funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
