Obituary for William A. Suehr Jr.
WILLIAM A. SUEHR, JR.
William, 80, died Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was born September 13, 1937, in Crafton, a son of the late William A. and Mary V. Malloy Suehr.
Mr. Suehr was a member of St. Patrick R. C. Church and was a self-employed printer and farmer. He enjoyed stunt kite flying and RVing.
Surviving are his children, Jill (John) Tasz of Midway, Mary Gregg of Carnegie, Kelly Suehr of Burgettstown, William (Shelley) Suehr, III of MN, and Holly (Tony) Governale of OH; brothers and sister, Harry Suehr, Janet (Chip) DePoli, Paul Suehr and James (Rose) Suehr. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and his companion of 28 years, Mary Rave of Crafton and his former wife Phyllis Suehr.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Hutchinson and brother, Frank Suehr.
Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick R. C. Church, Noblestown Rd. Oakdale. Interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Burgettstown Jr. High Varsity Wrestling Boosters, made out to Head Wrestling Coach, 104 Bavington Rd., Burgestown, PA 15021.
