William, 82, of Clinton, went home to be with his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ , on Friday, March 29, 2019.
Mr. Kerr was born April 4, 1936, in Clarion, PA a son of the late William J. and Sara Maxwell Kerr.
Bill was a teacher and principal at South Side Beaver School District. He loved to travel with the senior students and made thousands of hoagies to fund thirteen senior trips. Bill felt blessed to have traveled with family throughout the United States and Canada and to enjoy God’s Creation and gifts to mankind. He was a member of Hanover Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Dorothy J. Kerr of Clinton; children, Joseph S. Kerr of Clinton, William J. (Barbara) Kerr of SC, Darlene R. Sabol of Virginia Beach, Terri B. (Ron Smith) Miller of Virginia Beach, and Laura L. (Param) Mahal of CO. He is also survived by grandchildren: Dylan, Nathan, Michael, Sara, Laura, Alicia, Olivia, Emily, Isabella and Sebastian; great-grandchildren, Clark, Maxwell and Simon; and his brother, James (Becky) Kerr of OH.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Kerr.
Friends will be received Friday 4-8 p.m. in the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc, 305 Main Street, Imperial (724-695-2800). A funeral service will be held on April 6, 2019 at 10:00AM at the Hanover Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2462 Route 18, Clinton, PA 15126. Please everyone meet at the church. Interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Hanover Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
