Donald F. Ransil Sr., 85, of McDonald, passed away on, Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Canonsburg Hospital.
Donald was born on September 11, 1934, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Raymond Ransil.
Mr. Ransil was a retired machinist mechanic for Guckert CO. and a devout member of St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, McDonald. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and playing softball. Donald was most proud of his four sons that he and his wife had raised.
Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Audrey (Snyder) Ransil, of McDonald, children; Donald (Marcy) Ransil Jr., of McDonald, Rick (Rae) Ransil, Mark Ransil and Gary (Kelly) Ransil, all of Canonsburg, siblings; Lenny (Elaine) Ransil, Alice Ransil, and Sister Dorothy Ransil, grandchildren; Christy, Julia, Celena, Marissa and Michael, and great-grandchildren; Dustin, Samantha, and Sydnie.
He is preceded in death by his siblings; Joseph, Bernie and Sister Michelle Ransil, and Janet Pack.
