Alan J. Bugay, 72, of Imperial, passed away on June 20, 2020 in the Veterans Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Alan was born on September 22, 1947, in Imperial a son of the late Alex and Esther (Patton) Bugay.
Mr. Bugay was a retired carpenter and a U.S. Marine Veteran. Serving in the Vietnam War where he received a Purple Heart for his dedication to our country. Alan was an artist at heart and spent his free time painting.
Surviving are his siblings; Alexis Marzzarella, Philip (JoAnne) Bugay, and Betty Stawiarski, nieces and nephews; Ron Charlton, Jodie Messner, Emilie Stewart, Scott Stawiarski, Issac and Elijah Charlton, and many great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Bugay.
Friends and Family will be received on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. 305 Main St., Imperial (724-695-2800). A service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital in memory of Alan.
