Obituary

Harold, 87, of Sturgeon, South Fayette Twp., died Monday, September 28, 2020 in Washington Hospital.
He was born December 22, 1932, in North Fayette Twp., a son of the late Harold Potts, Sr. and Louise Marshall Potts.

Mr. Potts was employed as an ironworker with Local Union #3. He was a US Army veteran serving in the tank division. Hunting and fishing were his favorite past times.

Surviving are his daughter, Susan Giddens of Smithfield, TN; grandchildren Sarah Gerard of Orange City, FL, Tate, Cody and Conner and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Robert (Charlene) Potts, and William (late Patricia) Potts; sisters Rae Ellen (the late Tom) Ealy, Clifford (the late Ellen) Potts, Henry (Gayle) Potts, Duane (Harvene) Potts and several nieces and nephews,

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Potts (2016); brothers, Jerry Potts and Kenny Potts and sister, Loraine Williams.

Friends will be received Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc.
5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale, (724-693-2800), A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Private interment will be held at Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.

To better ensure the safety of the family, the funeral home asks that you comply with the Centers for Disease Control guidelines and please wear a mask while in the building, practice social distancing and wash your hands frequently.
