William M. “Moss” Wauthier, 72, of Midway, passed away on March 6, 2021, in his home.
Mr. Wauthier was born on June 23, 1948, in Pittsburgh, and grew up in McDonald. He was a son of the late Lee and Isabelle (Couderc) Wauthier.

Mr. Wauthier was born on June 23, 1948, in Pittsburgh, and grew up in McDonald. He was a son of the late Lee and Isabelle (Couderc) Wauthier.
Bill was a member of St. Alphonsus R.C. Church and a retired Post Master for the Colliers, West Virginia U.S. Postal Service. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Bill enjoyed spending time with his fellow brothers at the McDonald VFW and somehow always finding time for a round of golf. His love for his country was outstanding, but his family was always first. The time he spent with his family, Bill cherished the most, each person held a special place in his heart.
Surviving are his loving wife, Sandra (Poznak) Wauthier, children, Emily (Dan) Schultz of Moon Twp. and Cory (Johnna McGivern) Wauthier, of Hickory, granddaughters, Kendra and Halle, siblings, L. Thomas Wauthier, of McDonald, Susan Wauthier, of New Wilmington, and mother-in-law, Dolores Poznak, of Midway.
Along with his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ted Poznak.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 106 St. John St., Midway (724-796-3301).
