William J. Bordo, 75, of McDonald, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley – Bever.

William was born on April 22, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Frank and Anna (Semko) Bordo.
Mr. Bordo was a retired shop teacher for Burrell School District. He loved being involved within his two sons’ lives, and was always interested in what his kids were doing. William was constantly playing sports with his sons, participating in boy scouts, hunting, or whatever they needed from him. Mr. Bordo was the perfect example of how to be a good father and husband.
Surviving is his loving wife of 39 years, Mary (Bernens) Bordo, of McDonald, sons, Joshua (Chelsey) Bordo, of Hannover Twp., and Mark (Courtney) Bordo of MA, granddaughter, Hannah Bordo, and siblings, Joanne Behling, of South Fayette Twp., Robert Bordo, of Clinton, and John (Roween) Bordo, of McDonald.
Along with his parents, William is preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Bordo Jr, George Bordo and Joseph Bordo.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 2-4 p.m., at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800).
