William J. Bordo, 75, of McDonald, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley – Bever.

William was born on April 22, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Frank and Anna (Semko) Bordo.

Surviving is his loving wife of 39 years, Mary (Bernens) Bordo, of McDonald, sons, Joshua (Chelsey) Bordo, of Hannover Twp., and Mark (Courtney) Bordo of MA, granddaughter, Hannah Bordo, and siblings, Joanne Behling, of South Fayette Twp., Robert Bordo, of Clinton, and John (Roween) Bordo, of McDonald.

Along with his parents, William is preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Bordo Jr, George Bordo and Joseph Bordo.

To the Bordo Family, We were so saddened and shocked to see our cousin Billy has passed. The tribute wall was up-lifting and the pictures brought back so many memories. Of course our memories go back in time but are still vivid in our minds. I remember spending the night and sitting at the dinner table…all of us boys would start laughing and Uncle Frank would look at me and say “Mickey” if you don’t stop laughing you won’t come back. We laughed even harder. It seems like we visited just about every weekend. I remember the pond we played in and of course eating corn until it came out of our ears. Going to Aunt Susie’s and driving Uncle Joe’s tractor and turning it over. They were so mad at us. Then when we got older and moved away we only saw each other at different functions. Darlene said she remembers always laughing with you and having fun. I guess I could go on and on but I will close by saying even though time has passed you will always remain in our hearts. Love, Cousins, Mickey & Darlene
